Hello, thank you in advance for writing a bid for us,
We need 800sqft of pavers walk behind the house (see marked in blue on the pictures) and one retaining wall (50'; see marked in red in the pictures.)
The wall should be Allen Block on concrete footing, the footing is 16" wide and 2' deep, reinforced with rebar. The blocks should also be filled with concrete and reinforced with rebar.
We need a French drain behind so the water is drained properly, the French drain should be covered with geotextile.
The layers of the blocks should be reinforced with geogrid.
The area is easily accessible with machinery from the driveway, see green arrow on the street access picture.
The material can be anything high quality and cost effective, we don't care about the style because it's the back of the house

The Contractor will collect the first of three installments in the amount above at the start of the agreed upon project/contract. This installment is to cover all haul off and demo fees all beginning materials for the retaining wall footer and sub base material for paver area. This first installment will also go towards any and all fuel charges for machinery used for this agreed upon project.

The Contractor will collect a second installment in the amount of $10500 once the the wall footer which will be a (16”Wx4’D footer with double layer of #4 rebar and dowel rods) has been prepped and poured in place and paver area sub base has been prepped. Which includes 7 1/2” excavation 5” base rock compacted to 98% and geogrid. This installment will also cover the materials needed for the second part of this agreed upon project which is paver stones cmu block concrete for cmu block pour in place and all necessary materials labor and fuel charges needed to complete this agreed upon project.

The Contractor will collect the third and final installment of $9920 once all work is completed and the Contractor and Client have done a final walk through of this agreed upon project and final project area has been completed.
Paver Stones (800 sq ft), Retaining Wall Cmu block, Geogrid install for retaining wall, and all Concrete, base rock, and bedding sand needed for proper install of all material. Labor and Dump fees are also included in this bid.

This bid total is $32,000. This bid covers the 800 sq ft of paver area, 50 Lin ft of retaining wall that will include geo grid, cmu block, rebar, and 60 Lin ft of French drain, and lift and relay of approximately 120 sq ft of existing pavers in the driveway area.. All installments are to be paid to the contractor with Check made out to the Contractor. If the Client wishes to extend the area of work, there is a change order form provided to the client by the Contractor. If you have any questions or comments please text me at (510)363-4366.
